ISSUE. 009: Rome With The Bull Hoodie
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour. You need to put in the work, rep after rep, set after set because those are the bricks. Rome is just the result, the bricks are how you get there. The process is greater than the goal because it is the foundation of greatness. Focusing on your habits is more important than worrying about the outcome. People so are fixated on the results they forget what needs to be done to get there. Day after day, workout after workout slowly chipping away is how. Of course, there’s nothing necessarily impressive about laying down a brick or finishing a workout. It’s not a great amount of work, it does not take amazing strength nor stamina. Nobody is going to applaud you for it. But laying a brick every day to every year after that is how you build your empire. You start small, focus on improving just 1 percent today or simply putting in another rep. You don't have to build everything you want today, but you do have to find the strength and motivation to continue to lay down another brick another day. Run With Me.
